Well, we do have a good taste afterall

(However, I'm always more touched by men's voices, so I do prefer Brendan Perry)

Depends on the the decade, the genre. I wouldn't be able to choose my fav 'rock voice' as I like so many bands and artists, but my fav 'Pop voice' is an easy Michael Jackson.

Kelly Clarkson has one of the best voices ever. Many people don't like "My December", I thought it was great (Sober (from the end of "Bizarro") is on My December). I'm not sure if many people are gonna like her new cd, but I think it rocks!

I also think that Celine Dion and Mariah Carey are very talented singers.

I don't really know any good male singers, but Andrea Borcelli has an amazing voice.
James Morrison isn't so bad either.

I have recently fallen in love with Michael Bublé and his music.
He has one of the purest voices I have ever heard - it's just lovely.

Freddie. I never heard anyone reach notes he could, one of the best live performers.

One of my favorite singers is Greg Lake from Emerson Lake & Palmer. Here's a sample if you're interested. He has a very pure and beautiful voice but can also rock it out on some the bands grittier songs.
Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake & Palmer performing "Still You Turn Me On" at California Jam in 1974.

Greatest female voice for me is no contest:
                          Stevie Nicks

As for guys, there are a lot of great voices out there but I have recently become greatly enamored with Adam Lambert and his voice. That boy can sing! (and I'm not even an American Idol fan!)
