I'm preparing to watch the final two episodes of season 5. With Reckoning to come, I would not have guessed after this latest loft scene that this would be the last time we would see Clana kiss this season. A long horrible fall from Hidden, the best episode this season.

anyhow, although I'm usually ALWAYS on Clark's side in Clark-Lana fights, this time I really got to hand it to Lana - she's right. Clark's being horribly confusing, and she must be feeling awful, with the way he behaves. It can't be easy for her, having him push her away all the time without offering an explanation. I'd be mad too.
Besides, I couldn't sit beside Clark and not ask him to kiss me ...

I agree. Lana was just trying to figure him out. I mean really they both just lost here virginity together. They were very innocently intimate & now he didn't want to touch her. Lana was question her own sexuality?

I don't think she's a slut.... her issues is the sex made her more codependent on it. Her codependency got worst where it did allow her to sleep with Lex to soon for me after issue with CK. It wasn't even a year after Mortal did she did sleep with Lex & then get pregnant (even if it was fake) she had unprotected sex when we know Clana always had protected sex by CK own mouth to his parents.

I do have my issues with CK's reason & purpose for having sex with Lana. (not cancan) Both were not emotionally ready for the after issues. Yes....1st time love but it only made things more complicated, Lana very hurt & in the arms of another man & Clark more insecure about his own sexuality, hence more mistrust & doubt. I don't find anything sweet or pretty about Clana Season 5 & beyond, it was this sweetness destroyed for me. Simple not part meethos Clana never had sex & it's so respectfully still innocent love in comics.

Clark was able to practice abstinence for yrs with Lana a once married women who was having passion enough sex with Lex to know she can feel sure of her sexuality & femininity. CK wasn't giving her the assurance she needed when a girl comes a women. But neither was Lana for CK to become a man...CK regressed more.

Lana's was just being a women trying to make it work with CK who had a fear of being intimate with a mortal women.....the lack of intimacy of Clana was took it's toll on Lana's desire to be "powered" she can love her man..... she just didn't know the consequences was to lose him.

CK issues obviously were right, for without his training he would have never been able to make love to Lois. And for CK to make love to a women in general he has to love her & this "making love with is abilities" has always been something very deep in CK & he took this step with his true love, Lois......it was all about trust & a very deep love. Aspect Clana never had. CK feels stronger & more of a man with Lois b/c she allows him to be one & like it.
