I must agree with a bunch of people who posted the song "Tomorrow" which was played at the end of Insurgence. Awesome song and will forever be associated with Lex in my mind.

A song that always pops into my mind, even though it's a bit dark, is "Hurt" by either NIN or Johnny Cash. It's dark, broody, and hits on all the points of Lex's journey to the dark side. (The song as it pertains to Lex is obviously metaphorical, I don't see him having a drug problem, but he has had a lot of his loved ones leave him and he does do a lot of looking inside himself for the reason as to why he is the way he is.)

This song reminds me mostly about Lex because whats his going to become.That the evil inside of him is part of his destiny... something he can't escape.And sadly at the end his going to truly embrace it.

A song by Lex? Well, unfortunatelly I don't know many Smallville's Sound Track but there are a song that makes me think about Lex everytime I listen it: "Faight Test" by Flaming Lips- well, originately it was a Cat Stevens song-. In this song, a son faight againts his father.
In Spain we can watch the seccond year of the TV show but, thaks to yours, I am discovering many intersting thighs about my favourite characther: Lex.
