Cover Girl (1944). Gene Kelly plays Danny McGuire. 36 years later, he used the same character name in his final movie, Xanadu (1980). (Though, it's not supposed to be the same guy, in the two movies.)
The Rhythm Section (2020). A film that never got much of a chance. Wasn't even given a theatrical release in much of the world. A bit of a slow burn, but I liked it. The protaginist felt more realistic, than a lot of protagonists in action/spy movies.
M*A*S*H (1970). Better than the TV show. Had just watched two episodes, before sitting down to watch the movie. Really hits you with the difference in scale, between a movie and a weekly television series.
