    I saw Batman Begins. I thought it was good but not great. Much better than the previous four movies. Christian Bale was excellent. I liked the dark serious approach.

    I saw "War of the Worlds" today and thought it was a lot of fun. It had great special effects and was very scary in parts. Spielberg knows how to to this kind of movie very well. Thumbs up.

    I saw Land of the Dead for the second time this past Thursday and I thought it excellent except for a part of the ending. The makeup and effects were very well done and the story itself was very good, and Savini's reprise of his role from the original Dawn was fun, too-- especially since I hadn't read about it and didn't know it was coming.

    And I saw Batman Begins for the second time Friday, and I thought it excellent as well.
