1)I like at the beginning of Season 4 when Lex takes over Luthercorp and visits Lionel in prison. Lionel holds up a magazine with Lex's face on it and says:

"You know, they said Mussolini was a saviour (dramatic pause)........and look what happened to him".



2) Another one is in Season 3. Lex is trying to prove that he's not crazy and Clark is trying to help him. Lana gets hurt when Lex tries to leave the barn under her supervision and Clark is visiting her in the hospital. When he gets there, he sees Lionel.



Lionel mockingly says to Clark:"You know, I never knew who was more insane. Don Quixote, jousting with imaginary enemies, or his partner Pancho, indulging his wildest fantasies despite the danger to everybody else".

You can clearly see Clark getting angry after he said that.
