You know, I've been surprised by how few shows I actually watch, let alone enjoy anymore. Yes, I have my favorite shows of the past on DVD, but the new shows that have debuted recently aren't appealing to me at all. I'm starting to worry that true creativity, excellent writing and acting are becoming extinct, both in television and movies. I mean, just look at the number of remakes. Where are the new and original ideas? Where is the bold risk-taking and vision? Sure, there a few people in Hollywood taking risks, but most of them play it safe and chase the money.
