Tom Welling's new show "Professionals" has been acquired up by the CW. Co-starring Brendan Fraser, no date and time for the premiere has yet been announced.

Okay, so I started watching this (it's not done airing--I'm not sure how many episodes there are).

I've seen the first 2 episodes and it's...not quite what I was expecting. And so strange to see Welling like that (not just the beard and all but also, with guns? I get his guy is an ex-soldier but still--!).

Welling and Brendan Fraser are definitely the best things about this show, hands down.

It's got me intrigued enough to keep going, I'll give it that.

As I said Welling and Fraser were the best things about this.

I doubt it will get more episodes (the CW billed it's last as the 'series finale') but if there were more I'd probably watch it. However, I doubt there will be because Fraser is going to swamped with offers after his role in "The Whale" (esp if he wins an Oscar tonight).

So looks like Season 2 is in jeopardy? Which is not a huge surprise but still--based off the Fraser factor alone...?

I know the article/showrunner said that Fraser's character likely wouldn't be back but still, piggybacking off his Oscar win, you'd think this show would have some traction.
