Rumor has it that there is a secret untitled Marvel film to come out October 7th, 2022 and there’s indications that it could be Blade. Obviously, at this point it’s only rumor so, that’s why I gave this thread 2022+ with the pandemic still raging on and with release schedules ever changing nothing is really set in stone. -

Marvel Studios’ Blade is being unsheathed once more, this time with a whole new creative team.
Yann Demange, who directed the pilot of HBO’s boundary-pushing horror series Lovecraft Country, has come aboard to helm the vampire action thriller that still has Mahershala Ali attached to star.
Meanwhile, Michael Starrbury, who earned an Emmy nomination for penning an episode of Ava DuVernay’s drama, When They See Us, has been hired to pen a brand new script for the feature.Comment

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/marvels-blade-delayed-writers-strike-1235480828/The studio, whose creative process involves rewrites and experimentation on set, is still gearing up to shoot 'Deadpool 3' and 'Thunderbolts' in the coming weeks.
The writers strike has taken a bite out of Blade.
Marvel Studios is shutting down preproduction on its vampire thriller starring Mahershala Ali, which was set to begin filming next month in Atlanta. The feature project, which has been paused once before, becomes the first tentpole movie impacted by the strike.
Cast and crewmembers are being notified this afternoon.
Blade had recently hired True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto to work on the script, but, according to an insider, “time simply ran out.” The studio will restart the production once the strike is over.
