Has it been 20 years already? Two of the former lead actors return as the Doctor, two doesn't: William Hartnell (who passed away 1975) and Tom Baker (who declined). Though, they still managed to make both appear, through archive footage from The Dalek Invasion of Earth, along with footage from the incomplete Shada.
Thought they did a good job, getting old companions back for cameo appearances. K-9 is in the possession of Sarah Jane, tying into the K-9 and Company pilot, that had been done two years before.
A minor inconsistency: one minute, the past Doctors remembers their future. Another, they're unaware of it.
