On Twitter, Bryan Q. Miller revealed the names of the scientists, that Emil Hamilton work with at STAR Labs. They're Morrow, Ivo, Strange, Magnus, Palmer and Sivana. Presumably their full names are Thomas Oscar Morrow, Anthony Ivo (creator of Amazo), Will Magnus (creator of the Metal Men) and Beautia Sivana (daughter of Dr. Sivana). Interestingly, the two he identifies as (Adam?) Strange and (Ray?) Palmer are women. Granted, the show had people named "Palmer" in "Shimmer" and "Red", but here they've placed a woman named Palmer next to some guys who are adaptations of existing DC characters. Meaning this is probably the Palmer, who becames the second Atom (with Strange (Amanda Strange?) being the one who'll be teleported to Rann). I could see her be an adaptation of the Jessica Palmer Atom (who is also blond).

Of course, in Smallville: Lantern #3, Emil identifies a male scientist as Strange (so, he could be Adam Strange). Then there's the fact that the show had Mad harriet and Lashina be humans. Meaning someone can be a different species, than in the comics. Looking at the DC database wiki, I found two females named Strange, who are related to Adam Strange: Janey Strange (his sister) and Alanna Strange (his wife). Meaning the female Strange could be either Adam's sister or wife.

Of course, in season one, there was a blond girl (played by Azura Skye), who was named Palmer and kept her hair in a ponytail for part of the episode. If Bryan Q. Miller knew about Amy Palmer, he could've (retroactively) turned Amy into the eventual Atom.

It's not unheard of. In the Wonder Woman '77 Meets The Bionic Woman comic series, they took Carolyn Hamilton (Jayne Kennedy) and turned her into Nubia. And Gloria Marquez (Jessica Walter) into Dr. Cyber. Not to mention, the Smallville Season 11 comic turned Tess Mercer into Red Tornado.

So, it is a common practice for comic book continuations of DC TV shows to (retroactively) turn characters on the show into a version of a pre-existing DC character (connecting the continuation back to the mothership). Meaning that the season 11 Palmer could easily be Amy Palmer (making her, retroactively, a future superhero).
