Do you have any information on Iris’ handwritten vows from last year’s Arrowverse crossover? Will The Flash‘s Nora use that to somehow prove her identity to Barry and Iris? —Kendra
Ah, a fan of my Pinned Tweet from eight months ago. Well, after the Flash team’s visit to out Comic-Con suite, I remembered to ask showrunner Todd Helbing if, in fact, we will see those vows again. Perhaps in Nora’s possession. And his answer was… nope. [Sigh]

Kiana Madeira (Sacred Lies) is set for a recurring role on the upcoming season with a twist. Madeira will play Spencer Young (aka Spin), originally a male character in the comics, but producers decided to change it up as a female role for the DC drama.

Question: Any Iris West-Allen scoop for Flash fans, specifically in terms of Central City Citizen?— Fowsia
    Ausiello:

While the paper “hasn’t officially been named yet,” Iris is “going to do more journalism [in Season 5] than we’ve seen in quite a while, which is fun — to get Iris out on the streets again,” showrunner Todd Helbing previews. “The whole idea is that we want to slowly build [her blog] into the Citizen, and she’s running this paper that we’ve seen since Day 1.”

Here are some S5 photos/posters including a West-Allen family portrait ...It was just pointed out on another site that Jessica Parker Kennedy (she looks so young too) is actually older than either Grant or Candice; Grant is actually the baby of the cast

Question: The Flash‘s 100th episode is coming up this year. Is there anything special planned? –Ashley
Details are still scarce, but it sounds like there will be a basketful of Easter egg-y callbacks. “It’s a big thing to get the opportunity to make 100 episodes of television, so you want to pay back the fans for tuning in, and give them some old faces to look at,” says showrunner Todd Helbing. “The mythology of the season will still be part of the 100th,” but in addition, “You should see some people that you’ve seen in the past.”

Question: Any clues or hints about what’s to come for The Flash Season 5? —Nathaniel
Ausiello: In showrunner Todd Helbing’s dream world, we’ll get a double dip of CGI-heavy villains. “We’re going to do everything we can to get King Shark and Grodd in the same episode, whether they’re fighting each other or the team,” he says. “That will be a lot of fun.” One baddie the CW series probably won’t get an encore from, however, is the original Trickster. “We always want to get Mark Hamill back, but my brother [Aaron Helbing] stole him for [History’]s Knightfall,” the EP laments. “We’ll see what happens. We may to have to arm wrestle for him!”
