Riverdale "Chapter Twelve: Anatomy of a Murder"

I might even be here for some live discussing. Warning everybody, Jason Blossom's murderer is revealed in this episode so you may want to turn away if you don't know yet!

If Sheriff Keller bought that story I guess he's not Sheriff Killer after all.

How are newspapers printed so quickly in Riverdale that things come out before word of mouth reveals everything?

After some thought, I gave it a 7.

I can't say that I was surprised by who the killer was, but at least the mystery is over.

I was glad that it wasn't F.P., though.

The incest stuff was something else. Clifford said Jason and Polly were third cousins, which would mean that Hal and Clifford were 2nd cousins, right? It's still kind of gross, though...

Alice with a handgun was hilarious...

One scene that puzzled me was Penelope dragging Cheryl to the barn. Did I miss the importance of that scene? All I saw were barrels of maple syrup—unless the writers were trying to imply that the business was slow or nonexistent (and that's what Jason knew and his dad didn't want the entire town to know)?

I'm really looking forward to the finale. I hope it's good. If it is, maybe I'll stick around for Season 2.

Wasn't really shocked or surprised by the reveal of who killed Jason. Was more shocked about the Blossom-Cooper reveal. I suppose the Coopers could change their name back. Though, then Alice would be Alice Blossom, instead of Alice Cooper.

I'm surprised nobody's pointed this out before.

Of course not. The actor has played way too many bad guys on TV shows (ex. Dr. Lawrence Garner on Smallville). Think every time I've seen him in something, he always played a bad guy. It would've been too obvious.

We're not all in the same timezone. To me, this airs in the middle of the night and Netflix doesn't make the episode available until 11Am on Fridays. You'd be asking me to break the laws of time and space. And I respect those laws... unlike Barry Allen.

When Keller found Clifford's body in the barn, two of the barrels had been opened and revealed to contain what sure looked like drugs (which I suspected might be the case, during the scene between Cheryl and her mom). The maple syrup business has likely served as a front for drug smuggling.
