    RIP Clifton James

    Actor Clifton James has passed away, aged 96. He's best remembered for his role as Sheriff J.W. Pepper in the Bond films Live and Let Die and The Man With the Golden Gun. He also played the Sheriff, in Superman II, who runs into Zod, Ursa and Non.

        He was one of the fake Sheriffs brought in to replace Rosco in Season 2 of the Dukes of Hazzard... and I think the only one who didn't get his own version of the opening credits.

              He was hilarious, if a little out of place, in the Bond films.
