Original Trailer vs. Pilot Episode

Odds are you are thinking of the original trailer or "First Look" at the show which premiered back in May of 2015. Everything for that trailer was shot just for the trailer as essentially a pitch for the show, and some things ended up being very different when the pilot finally aired.
