Heh, can't blame him. Probably got tired of waiting for a MoS sequel...

It’s exactly what it looks like...a fun summertime popcorn flick.

Saw it a few hours ago. A very welcome movie, after Infinity War.
It's nice to have some more personal stakes, rather than "the fate of the universe is at stake". Instead, we've got Hank and Hope trying to save Janet, while Bill Foster's trying to save Ava. Everyone is driven to save someone or to survive. There is no masterplan to take over the world, even if Sonny certainly is eager to get his hands on Pym's tech. But, that's strickly for financial gain. He's not interested in rulling the world.
Thought they managed to get the characters to where you
you could understand both sides. Neither Pym or Foster was in the wrong, while at the same time, making things more complicated, through their inability to work together.
The thing I disliked was
the ticking clock during the climax.
I really dislike those plot devices. After all,
there is no way, that all of that happened in under 15 minutes.
Glad that they
didn't kill off Bill Foster.
This way, they can
introduce Tom Foster in Ant-Man 3.
I saw it twice over the weekend. The first time, I fell asleep for about half the movie. The second time, I wanted to fall asleep, but forced myself to stay awake. I guess that I thought this movie was quite boring. The first movie was a lot better. I'll just give a grade: C.
