The episode as a whole was okay, but there is no way that a human, with the MOC or not, can beat the crap out of an Angel! Like you all have said above, the believability and credibility have seriously gone out the window!

When Castiel grabbed Demon Dean from behind to control him, his eyes lit up with angel power. When Castiel confronted Dean this time, he told Dean not to force him to hurt him. So obviously he believed he could take Dean down. If he could easily stop Demon Dean, then stopping MoC Dean would be even easier. But when he grabbed Dean this time, his eyes didn't light up. For whatever reason, I think he decided not to use his angel powers.
