What the frell is Oliver's solution to the Doomsday problem? They never tell us so we can never evaluate it.

Because he doesn't have a plan.. his plan was for Clark to kill Davis. Now that that clearly isn't going to happen, he has set the team up for inevitable failure. Chloe is no better, separating the two when Clark is not there and unleashing the beast. What are they thinking?!

I agree. And I hate the way Clark blames himself. Chloe and Oliver are completely responsible for what happens to Jimmy - not Clark.

Well actually. His father is an alcoholic and he's never actually met his mom. According to Committed at least. So if by some unlikely chance Jimmy would get killed (which is unrealistic since he is a mythos character), no family member of his would attend his funeral.

Because they picked Doomsday as the S8 big bad, people were expecting a huge fight. Perhaps they should've picked a lesser known villain.
