Skully, you should google that Tv movie about Scott and Lacy Peterson, it's based on true events (sadly) but Dean Cain did a good job portraying that psychopath.

I don't think that was his intent. He is trying anything to keep Chloe from going through with the procedure. He knows that his secret is something she wouldn't want to forget.
