I think they can reference Wolverine just not the one from the movies; its different for the comics and animated stuff those are all still under Marvel completely.

Well we're still doing slit seasons so 11 episodes a part and this is only episode 8. Its still unclear whether this episode counts as two separate episodes or one full; which would mean the 2nd of the season would have 12 episodes if this is one or a shorter first 1/2 if two.
