"Daredevil" showrunner Steven S. Deknight chatted briefly on the red carpet at the "Guardians Of The Galaxy" world premiere last night, and had this to say about the upcoming DD series:

"We're going for a very gritty, 1970's New York feel. We love the idea of beauty in the decay of the city, and Hell's Kitchen being a place that is both horrible and beautiful at the same time. That's why Matt Murdock loves it so much and wants to protect it."

I am all in favour of this Frank Miller-esque tone they seem to be aiming for, can't wait to see how this series turns out.

Rosario Dawson is apparently going to play a character named Claire T. as in hopefully Claire Temple.Claire is a former love interest of Luke Cage...and also the ex-wife of Bill Foster aka Goliath.
