I think Ward has been brainwashed by Hydra somehow. He doesn't seem like his true self. I don't see him becoming a baddy permanently.

She appeared in Cap 2, so the overall universe didn't forget about her. It could be a fog of war situation with them operating on incomplete information.

I'd read she appears in Cap 2, was just wondering why there was no mention of her (she is Fury's second in command, right?) in this episode. But yes, I can understand that information getting 'lost' in the chaos after the battle.

In hindsight, I'm wondering if Ward knew it was HYDRA Day when he blew up the thing that contributed to Garrett's defeat. The only thing I remember Coulson giving him to "chew on" was that Hand was the Clairvoyant. Maybe he didn't understand the full story until Coulson told him during the montage. Maybe that's why he was mad. Someone tell me if I'm forgetting something.
