What I mean is that Zod is so quick to believe Tess that Clark would take the Kandorians away from him because that's exactly what Zod would do if the roles were reversed.

Just realized something--at the end of Checkmate, the good guys all knew Sylvester Pemberton was killed by Icicle, working for Checkmate...and that Tess was working for Checkmate at the time (and had been, since not long after joining the series). Given Oliver's holding a repentant Tess accountable for being in Checkmate, wouldn't it make sense for him to want to bring her to justice for Pemberton? Sure hope Stargirl doesn't find out!
