OK folks, we recently democratically determined that Brainiac was the greatest Villain and Clark was the greatest Hero of the 10 season Smallville series. It was a lot of fun so how about one more Elimination Game? This time we get to choose our favorite Smallville location of all time.
I have been through all episodes and believe I have come up with an exhaustive list of 130 locations from the 218 episodes. Only locations that appeared in at least 2 separate episodes where considered, with something noteworthy having occurred at the location e.g. SMC Elevator - Pete kissed Chloe in Truth, Grant Gabriel flirted with Lois in Wrath.
Please note, there is some confusion over whether Riley Field or Lawson's field is the Scarecrow field. In Pilot Pete specifically mentions Riley Field, while in Lazarus, Tess mentions Lawson's Field. I have gone with Riley Field.
If I have missed any, please let me know.
TOP 50 RULES:
- The Locations will be given 5 points a-piece.
- Now, for each post you make, you must add a point (+) AND subtract a point (-) each from two different locations. Please highlight your votes in bold.
- A location can't receive more than 14 points (that doesn't mean it automatically advances, the location can still can lose points!!!).
- If a location gets down to zero points it's eliminated from the game. These locations shall be listed under a heading ELIMINATED above the main location list.
- A 14 point top score and a 0 point elimination should mean we achieve the top 50 pretty close to when we eliminate the last location.
- No back-to-back voting – at least one person must vote before you vote again.
- Unlimited back-to-back votes between two posters in Round 1.
- If there is no voting after 1 hour, the voting can be reset. This does not apply to posters who have already had 10 back-to-backs.
- Maximum of 4 back-to-back resets, and no voting for the same location within those groups of resets.
- No voting for the same location in consecutive votes or within 1 hour by the same poster.
- Make sure to copy the list each time and bold your choices. Once a location reaches 14 points, please make bold and color red.
- If two people post at the same time, then the person who posted 2nd needs to edit ASAP.
