Official synopsis:
From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchise of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team--the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits - Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand--with the galaxy's fate in the balance.Comment

^^That's not the real deal. Clearly a combo of the actual teaser, that leaked a while back, with footage from other films (A few shots seems to be taken from Rise of the Silver Surfer and, at about 0:16, there's a shot of Nero's ship emerging from the black whole, from the 2009 Star Trek movie).Last edited by jon-el87; 01-04-2014, 10:24 AM.Comment

From CBR:
Although studio President Kevin Feige confirmed more than a year ago that a Doctor Strange film will join Ant-Man in Marvel’s third cinematic wave, he has so far refused to reveal any additional details about his post-2015 plans. However, JoBlo.com insists it already knows what’s on the horizon for 2016 — and it’s probably not what you expect.
Citing “a reliable source,” the website reports Marvel is already clearing a 2016 spot for the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy (Disney planted a flag last summer on May 6, 2016, but another release date is said to be possible). Considering that director James Gunn’s oddball space adventure, the studio’s riskiest venture to date, doesn’t open for another six months, that would indicate a serious vote of confidence from executives.
If that weren’t enough to demonstrate Marvel is serious about a Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, JoBlo adds that an animated series is in development, targeted for a fall 2015 premiere on Disney XD.
Marvel has also laid claim to May 5, 2017, which some have speculated might go to a long-discussed Blank Panther movie or, of course, the aforementioned Doctor Strange.Comment
