I'm late to this board, I just found it, and I just saw this episode last night when I got it through Netflix. I have loved this series from the moment I discovered it last year. I'm the only one I know who is/has watched the series, so I'm very glad to find the board and to see what others thought.
I know the last Superman movie made this comparison about Earth needing a Savior, and it's really been there all along as part of the mythos, but this episode made it pretty blatant. The cross, the grave and the resurrected Son of the house of El. Did anyone else catch this? Or is this just so obvious that no one felt the need to comment on it and I'm pointing out what you all have seen?
This is not a criticism, in fact just the opposite.
