Even though Maleficent got her butt kicked, I can be on board with it because it serves the story. If even Maleficent, of all characters is saying DO NOT USE THIS CURSE, it makes it seem even worse.

As a Maleficent fan for pretty much all my life, I just liked seeing her included. Hope she comes back for a rematch!
