Wow, there's a couple of ways we can go here. The radioactive symbol makes me think Lana (with her Krypto skin). Also Evan (and his mother) with the energy surges. Not sure about the significance of the puppy. The Tim Cain bio included a reference to Vampires (could also apply to Lana). And a reference to something called "Fallout" which was the name of a Smallville episode, featuring Raya. Autozone? Anything to do with cars? That in combination with the puppy made me think of Lois hitting Shelby? Am I even the ballpark?

Yes, something you said came close. As for the puppy, don't think about the puppy itself, but something related to a puppy. If you work out the other clues, you'll see the connection.
