It wasn't selfish, it was cruel, evil, manipulating and controlling.

When someone is being "selfish" they are doing something for themselves... the word "self" is right there.

What Jor-el did wasn't "Selfish" in any sense of the word because he didn't do it for himself. He did it for Clark.

It was perhaps wrong or misguided, hell even jerky.
But the words selfish is being wrongly used.

Maybe Kara should of pulled the plug on Jor-El instead of Clark.

Funny as Hell! Jor-el gave her the boot. Kara should have stayed, especially to see him fly and become Superman.
