I was thinking maybe Tess gaved him a device with yellow solar energy which would allow him to have alittle power in the phantom Zone. I'm like hey what ideas do you have Tess. Do you have like a yellow solar power suite for Clark to put on?

I imagine the device would be drained somewhat quickly, like in Return to Krypton with Kal-El's solar battery going tick, tick, tick. But I suspect his dad would have thought ahead and designed the PZ to neutralize any effects of yellow sun on Kryptonians.

Now I imagine an alternate history for Krypton where its sun turns yellow. Just the pro sports alone would be mind-boggling.
