1. The Hotline
Of the 1248 phone calls that came into the Booster Gold hotline on the first day, precisely 27 were lost because Booster Gold was sitting on the crapper when the phone rang, 38 callers asked a Booster Gold representative how to get ahold of "The Blur", 42 callers asked for assistance in killing spiders in the shower, 14 callers requested assistance getting their cat out of a tree, 6 callers reported their satellite dish signal was out in hopes of getting assistance, one elderly caller claimed to have saw Booster Gold playing football in the future and lectured the operator on the dangers of tampering with the space/time c0ntinuum, asked how Booster made it back to the past without plutonium and warned of the possibilities of Booster running into his other self.
2. Blue Beetle Meets Bug Boy
2a. Having learned of a new resident in Metropolis known as the Blue Beetle, local Metropolis resident "Bug Boy" Greg Arkin proclaimed that now was the perfect time to finally complete the long-overdue "mating phase" of his life.
2b. Sight unseen, Arkin searched the streets of Metropolis for the Blue Beetle from the comforts of his automobile. Upon spotting the Beetle, the Bug Boy approached and explained his intentions.
2c. Alarmed, Blue Beetle/Jaime explained that he isn't really who Greg Arkin thinks he is. Beetle also explains that the armor suit is also on its way to the Booster Gold key ceremony and can't have any interruptions because it seems to have a mind of its own.
2d. Arkin/Bug Boy argues (verbatim) that "minor technicalities don't concern you when you've got two million and nine years of intelligence and instinct guiding your way." Blue Beetle flashes a confused look.
2e. Arkin further explains that what he wants is not only natural, it is also nine years overdue. Bug Boy also states that this should only take a couple of minutes and Blue Beetle will still have plenty of time to make the key ceremony. Blue Beetle is non-responsive.
2f. Greg Arkin gives a rambling backstory to Blue Beetle explaining part of the reason he has waited nine years to pursue his personal life is because the last time he approached somebody he was interested in "there was this little thing at the Creekside Foundry, some crazy stuff happened and I had a fear of commitment for a long time afterwards."
