I heard a slightly different voice when watching "Kent" this week. After clark calls on Jor-el, CL is shown in his fortress and you here "Welcome home, My son" and it sounds like a sound bite from Superman 1. I thought this was a cool little thing to throw in the season.

Was that Marlon Brando's voice in the fortress of the alternate universe?

Stock footage and sound from "Arrival".
Was imo a really cheap trick especially when it was CL related *pukes* -
No, that was Terrence Stamp (General ZOD from Superman II) who has voiced AI Jor-El the entire Smallville run.Comment

I thought it was pretty clear that it was reused footage from Arrival. Which is appropriate since Clark Luthor was pretty much at the same point regarding "FoS training" that Clark Kent was in Arrival.Comment

TS ftw. But either way, still a voice from the old Supes movies.
But I must say, I did think of Brando at first too, only because they used him for SReturns as well.Comment
