Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this is stupid, but didn't they already cast Joseph Morgan to play Klaus? I hear he will be appearing in 2 episodes from now. So either that means that he only will be used for flashbacks, or else Alaric will be rid of Klaus's soul. I have a feeling that the superwitch, Bonnie, will be useful in this.

I think it would be much more entertaining if Klaus inhibited Damon or Stefan's body!

That's what I was thinking. The writers' were probably wring their hands as they couldn't figure out a way to give Matt Davis any screen time, so they did the easiest thing possible.
