It's fallout from her experience with the Lich and she's going crazy maybe? Orwell going crazy would be thematically relevant to the extent that it would parallel her with her father and force Peter to confront his own insanity in a bid to reclaim Jamie's. After all, she ended up in Conrad's clutches in a bid to save/stop her father.

It was kinda cool to see David Lyons speak in his native Australian accent for this ep.

That cake thing was just......ridiculous! It felt odd and out of place
