I think Bulletproof probably is effected by the "Lana factor".

I don't love Checkmate because I'm not crazy about how Clark is written in that episode.

But it just goes to show you how subjective it all is.

Save the last 2-3 minutes I thought Bulletproof was great. It's sad they wasted that episode on her. It probably would be better if the lesson Clark learns in that episode was put to better use for an endscene

Well, since it's a poll asking if people, "Loved it? Hated it?," how could it be anything but subjective?

I'm not sure it's really possible to objectively rate a piece of entertainment, and I never viewed these polls as an attempt to do so.

I try to look at these polls simply as people expressing their emotional reaction to an episode (positive, negative, or neutral).

All JMO and YMMV.

Sorry. I didn't mean for my post to sound like I was disagreeing with you. I actually wanted to support, and expand on your statement about the subjectivity of the votes.

I tend to write long rambling posts, then edit them down before posting (to make them more readable, and to eliminate anything that may violate the rules of this site). Unfortunately, I sometimes edit out so much that what's left fails to accurately convey the point I'm trying to get across.

And I agree as well. Bulletproof and Checkmate are two of my fave episodes in the past three seasons! Both of them are examples of great action-based episodes that still do a lot to propel the storyline along, and introduce some cool characters and show elements.

BTW, although many others have already said it, thank you so much for putting all this data together, cma! It cannot have been an easy task!
