I wonder who came up with the gestures. ED is cute enough that I could see her doing that on her own, but then I wonder if that was just part of the script.

*and I've got to chime in on the hair that I think it looks too much for Lois. I know she's supposed to be older, but I just don't see Lois styling her hair like that. It looks too complicated for everyday wear.
