I don't think anyone can give a poll on the best since everyone has different tastes so I will put in my opinion knowing that it won't really count as I mentioned above.. and that is Sacrifice.... it stands alone, no other writer can match what was written if you look closely... it focused on who when and why.... it did not make promises for anything... just stated things as they now are...

I voted Noir. Not because it's a particularly good episode, I don't think any of the episodes on the list are, but at least it was really pretty.

I rarely vote for the newest episode, but I vote for Sacrifice with Talisman a close second. Sacrifice is such a great Zod episode and one of the best of the season. Also nothing else on that list is anything spectacular.

I wonder what these four episodes have in common...

My reaction was not quite that strong, but it seemed like a pretty sorry lot to me too. Arctic was the best of the mediocre for me, IMO

You didn't like Talisman? I thought the first three season episode 20's were very strong in terms of portraying Clark and all had very good plots.
