Using Upgrade, the final rating went down about 280k. In terms of viewers in the NY area for Smallville, it makes up roughly 7% of the country(the CW is available in 95%).

There were more preemption's than just New York that night though. If I remember correctly.

Looking back at the ratings it was shown in 86% of the country(95% is the max it can be). Usually NY is about 87% so yeah looks like there was a million+ extra households it was pre-empted in. If you prorate how much 8% of the NY audience is out of the 9% that were pre-empted in total it seems to taken a 250k bite out of the audience.

Assuming there was no other pre-emptions more in the 2.1 range. The pre-emptions that are shown on the same night are hard to factor in(since they actually count to the final number but chances are the amount of people who watch at 10 PM are not the same as would watch at 8 PM)

Right now "Sacrifice" is #2 on Amazon Video on Demand. Maybe it will pass #1 SGU like last week. Will keep an eye on it.
