well checkmate castle looked pretty wicked, also the usage of john powers were top notch there.

The Clark busting in scene was super sweet. Very Comic Book inspired.

yea that was cool, though i thought the slow mo was used a bit to much in the episode in general.

I thought they were amazing. Nothing spectacular, but it felt like they used the right amount, at the right times. I liked everything tonight.

The visual effects in this episode were the Smallville team at the top of their game. No doubt.

Clark and MM effects awesome, didn't care for (the Matrix) effects with Tess at the beginning

I liked the special effects too a point. They looked kind of cool, but then felt they did not know when to quit and overdid it.

1) Everything involving MM
2) When Clark burst in the room to save Chloe.

Yeah the Martian Manhunter stuff was awesome. I liked the Chloe save until he caught the bullet. I thought it didn't need the effect after as much.
