  • Television Ratings for "Checkmate"

Predict the ratings for this week's episode and then talk about them once they're actually in!

My prediction? 2.26 million. It'll be up from last week, even in initial overnights. Because Checkmate looks awesome and all. Let's hope.

Yeah, I'm guessing something about 2.3 million maybe.

Someone had mentioned that it's gonna be pre-empted in Chicago. So, I guess it will be between 2.2 to 2.3 million. I hope it's higher because it does indeed look like an awesome episode.

I'm hoping with the guest stars of Pam Grier, and Phil Morris, we'll be up this week. I'm hoping for 2.4 - 2.6

I hope around 2.5 but I believe there may be obstacles so 2.3 sounds safe and accurate

I think people will know that Smallville is back this week and everyone will be returning to their TV sets from Easter weekend. I think the ratings will be low from here on out because it is Friday night and Spring is in the air. I hope it is better than last week. 2.10 million.

If Checkmate doesn't do better than Escape, Smallville is in trouble.
                      I'll guess 2.3 million.

tonights sounds great though I think last weeks episode could hurt tonights episodes ratings so I'm gonna guess 2.4 million for tonights.

This is considered a preemption. Ratings are measured for the timeslot the show is regularly scheduled to air.

This means the overnights will include whatever is showing on the Chicago WB at SV's regularly scheduled hour (even though it's not SV).

When the final ratings come out on Monday, they'll remove the Chicago market and count only the stations showing SV at the regularly scheduled hour.

I'm sure CW will get the ratings for the 10:30 special showing but it won't count in either the overnights or finals.
