"Homeward Angel" by MOBY reminds me of the good Lionel/semi-good Lionel we saw in parts of season five. The song was played in the background when Lionel told Lex that Lana Lang will never love him because she'll always know what is truly in his heart. The song was in the episode "Splinter" near the end. It's all music, but it's a beautiful song.

"Dangerous" by DEPECHE MODE. The lyrics remind me of lyrics that Lex would write to Lionel. It fits their love/hate relationship and how he feels Lionel is dangerous, but still wants him to love him ultimately:
