It's a distraction hoping we won't notice his lack of necessity or storyline. The money could have been better spent. This is Clark's story not GA's and of coarse the show needs other characters but his coulda, shoulda, don't know whya, moved on after his first season.

In triplet's review she mused over the fact that in the episode Justin Hartley co-wrote, Oliver gets his chest burned by Zod. So... if they ever want to to a shirtless scene for Oliver again... we'll need to see some sort of ... burn scar. LOL! Something to think about.
