You do realise if Clark does fly, then thats pretty much it for the Smallville series.......

WHY - Flying is not what makes Clark Kent into Superman.
Please see my post. In all other incarnations of Superman primarily in the DC cimics, Clark is flying around long before he puts on the blue tights.

It was only the Richar Donner Superman Movie starring Christopher Reeve that showed him flying only after donning the Superman suit.

um...Smallville has had a lot of things that have not tied into the Superman arc. why start now?

i don't think it's a big deal really that Clark hasn't flown yet. or maybe i don't care either way.

I would settle for Clark using some of his super intellegence, rather then flight at this point.
