Superman: The Man Of Steel (2013)

No offense to you Boy Scout but New Krypton and Grounded are the story arcs that made me give up on all comics, besides the Walking Dead. I hope Krypton explodes and stays dead. I'll be cheering in the theater when that happens.

In the name of all the Saints and Gods of every religion on Earth no! The last thing I'd want to see is a teen angst ridden superhero movie. After reading "Metropolis High" I threw up a little bit. As I said before I could tolerate a "Supergirl" if she was Matrix, I think the worst possible thing would be to have a movie be "Supergirl the High School Years". Uhg I threw up a little bit again...

See we do have alteast that in common. Hendricks bringing people together with her great.... acting talents.

None taken. But I just find the concept of Superman living like a kryptonian amongst other kryptonians to be fascinating. The story can be anything from For the Man Who Has Everything to Godfall to...well New Krypton.

Of course everything I said about the supporting characters would play as a fairly minor subplot to the major one. I still think you could tell stories (in movies) about Superman by using both Superboy and Supergirl. At least it would make up for much interesting stories than Superman the loner or Superman the outsider (which he was never supposed to be anyway).

If DC can go further than Marvel and introduce the Multiverse and even give us a Crisis movie then we might see PG among others.

I'll give u ur poster shots looking weak and similar, BG.. But how would you show SM flying in space? Would no Earth and from behind appease u? The character will be going up there we all know this..

So how do u change it from NOT looking like a previous SM movie, comic, cartoon etc.. Superman in space is nothing new or Donner related.. Now if Cavill smiles at the camera at the end (in space) then ur 100% right.. Till then i don't see how ur stance stays so firm..

I really don't want to get into this topic again but here goes...

Had Superman being flying to another planet (Warworld) or through a bright colored space nebula or through a wormhole, or through a sun or if Superman was fighting Zod or trashing a spaceship in space...THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING NEW! All we see in these space shots is Superman flying around earth in similar fashion like in the Donner movie. The shots and the angles are so identical! Just because he doesn't do the smile towards the camera (which would be too serious for a movie that has Chris Nolan's name involved) doesn't mean it isn't a homage/marketing ploy to subconsciously tickle our nostalgia nerve.

Let's put it this way, in ten or more years when Superman gets rebooted again. If we see Superman buried in skulls again...are you going to ask "well how else are they going to do it?"
