    • Oh, now I see it Maria. Heeheehee... You always make me smile!

That's what I figured as well, it being Presidents' Day, that we'd have to wait until tomorrow. Oh well. They couldn't drop that much, I'd think.

I'm happy that Smallville is maintaining it's ratings in this 2nd half!

              • 2.5 on a Friday night for a show this age, on the CW is nothing to frown at. Very well done show.

Are Feb. Sweeps officially over at the end of the month? I wonder if they're just waiting until then to give official confirmation of a tenth season. Seems to me there shouldn't be anything holding them back from doing so...

budgeting and negotiations of contracts. I feel strongly we'll get a tenth, remaining positive worked with rating, I think it will be renewed for a final season, if miller had his way it would go on forever. But CW owes SV a great dept.

                  • Ahhh, thanks, Dom.

Yeah, I've felt strongly about the renewal myself. I'm not surprised that budgets would be a consideration for renewal right now. Here's to hoping!!

I read about the budgeting issue but negotiation of contracts? I hope it is a one-year contract for AOT and her husband, MM so we can have Perry and Martha in the final year.

I wonder if CW is waiting for WB to pony up more money? I think WB rules the roost for the most part but programming is probably the one thing the CW (DO) has leverage with. I can imagine if flying will occur in S10 and a lot of CGI stuff, the budget for that may be a little higher than this season - although this season's SFX have been light years ahead of the previous two seasons, IMHO.

                      • Wow Jack I sure hope your take is right. I would love to see Martha and MM season 10. The WB has to remember that SV scores big when it comes to itune downloads, DVR #'s and of course complete season DVD sales, so I hope they take all of that into account.

I am guessing we will never get any DVR numbers for Kandor, but given the last 3 episodes we do have numbers for from the first half I am guessing it went up about 800k(Crossfire went up 820k, Idol went up 790k and Pandora went up 780k)
