Was Hiro healed?

Did the vision of his mother healing him work or did he have brain surgery? At the end of the episode his head had alot of bandages on it.

I was under the impression that he was having surgery while this dream sequence was going on. He has one of those face covers on that people wear when they have brain surgery and also the doctors/nurses around him are scrubbed up too. Which makes me think he's in surgery. But I may be wrong.

I'm sure he had the surgery to heal him. Of course he'll insist that his mother healed him in a dream.

all we watched was hiro guilty conscious interpreting the real action on his points of view if was beautiful played.

that is all he should have done in the first place... gone back to his mother and get healed... now why didn't he do that in the first place?
