  • Sylar not able to kill?

I'm not sure why? I don't see any reason for this.

    Nathan's "niceness"?

His shave and a haircut gave him special control?

When he was about to kill he had mental flashes of Parkman & Nathan, I believe he has residual "good" in him now.

Maybe that shows that Sylar might have some good in him.

This plus great continuity on part of the writers. Samuel mentioned that Sylar fears dying alone which is what Hiro changed in Sylar's backstory. I forget what episode but it was the time traveling episode where Hiro goes back to save Charlie and tells Sylar he will die alone and no one will mourn his death. It seems as though he is now afraid of dying alone and this is impacting him (I'd say more than having "residual good" in him). I really like this and it adds a fantastic dimension to Sylar.
