Not much is known as of yet but from the trailer I got the feeling that Two-Face (via posters of Uncle Sam half burned) would be in the game and that either Gotham is in the middle of a city-wide gang war or the entire city became a prison (much like Escape From New York)

I'm so excited I may wet myself!

Wait, it may be sort of like the No Mans Land storyline from the comics!

I'd love it if they adapted that storyline. Not because it was the best Batman story ever, but because I think it would translate well to a video game. The city is in disarray, with buildings collapsed over each other, creating natural barriers; all the villains are out on the loose again, and Batman has to round them up. I preferred the enclosed environment AA offered over an open world, so an earthquake would give the creators a chance to let players out in the city, but direct them where to go.

Having said that, I'm getting the vibe that they're going for a slightly generic jailbreak again. Just a feeling.

true. I kinda got the feeling the Gotham has been quarantined. after going over the trailer again, Penguin and Black Mask might make an appearance. There is the Iceberg Bar in the the trailer as well as a sign in Jokers hideout that said Sionis. No Man's Land would fit in but instead of an earthquake, Titan serum got passed around at a few parties and people started having bad trips (< Joke) and a part of the city got messed up.

cool your jets. this is probably going to be a late 2010 or early 2011 release... actualy it could be DLC. Kinda like GTA:IV. almost an entirely new game for download.

If you played through the first game, I think it's obvious that [SPOILER]Killer Croc, Bane, or Scarecrow[/SPOILER] will return.

For the AA2, I want to at least see Two-Face and Mr. Freeze.
