29 Visitor ships could there be more

I am thinking 29 could not achieve what they plan to do, is this the 1st wave of ships of many yet to come.

No doubt. The V's have a hidden agenda.

Always wondered why the number of ships is both an odd and a prime number. More MUST be coming. There were originally 50 in the 1983 miniseries and in the 1984 follow-up, at least one more arrived, in Los Angeles.

lol. yes in the first one there were fifty. I guess with the bad economy ABC could only afford 29.

I went there and considering the majority of those locations are what I don't consider as V ABC canon. I believe if it has been officially said on the show or a ABC press release then its etched in stone, other than that it's speculation

Since it's all done with CGI, with a single keystroke they could have trillions. I'm just a little disappointed with their heavy reliance of CGI. One of the things I loved about the original was the physical presence of the full scale shuttles the characters had to interact with.

I agree but with the modern day fx today its probably more cost effective to make just about everything CGI, sadly the craftsmanship of the past is almost gone.

i supposed well see a lot of more space ships when the vissitors show to the world what they really are and what really the want here

in the original series there were 29 ships... i think now in the 2009 probably there will be more than 50

the space ships looks smaller than the original serie... less troops... so its obvious they must have more space ships now

I guess we saw an answer to that in the 4th episode.

    (from sylvestter in another thread):
from the pilot i counted seven.

    1. new york, ny, usa
    2. los angeles, ca, usa
    3. paris, france
    4. rio de janeiro, brasil
    5. cairo, egypt
    6. london, united kingdom
    7. moscow, russia

what are the other host cities?
    Five guesses:

    8. Tokyo, Japan
    9. Beijing, China
    10. New Delhi, India
    11. Johannesburg, South Africa
    12. Berlin, Germany

Q: Would the Australian mothership be over Sydney, Melbourne, or the Capital State? Perhaps the Aussies would have more than one?

    More guesses? Anybody?

plus, does the number 29 hold any significance?
Methinks LOST has corrupted thee. j/k

This hasn't been updated in a while?

    8. Shanghai (From "Fruition")
    9. Hong Kong (From "Red Sky")
    10. Italy (From "Red Sky")

Not counting the fleet that just arrived.
I thought someone had posted pictures from each
episode of Motherships over the cities, but I was
    obviously mistaken.
