Special Effects in "Kandor"

All of the following special effects were very cinematic on Smallville:

-The combat sequence in the opening of the episode
-The destruction of Kandor
-Clark using his x-ray vision in the Turkish desert
-Clark using his super breath on the House of El symbol
-The Ruling Counsel
-The use of super speed
-Clark's use of heat vision on Jor-El's make shift tombstone

Smallvie has NEVER used this many special effects in one episode. I think it paid great homage to the Superman movies and the comics.
